this is funny — silly ambassadors, they don’t like the movie because they’re not in it…i don’t think they’re entirely serious though, the last paragraph is funny:

“It’s ridiculous,” said Arias, the Spanish Ambassador, adding: “So my opportunity to have a nomination for the Oscar next year went away because of some stupid regulation of the unions.”

this is pretty disturbing, but for some reason it reminds me of national lampoon’s vacation

well, i set up a little preferences thingy on the site. you can now select from a wide array of background colors (3) for the front page of the site (it will eventually be site-wide) the info is stored in a cookie on your computer, so it should remember what color you like!

to do cookies in php:
setting cookies: setcookie(“varname”, “value”, expire_time)
reading cookies: $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS["varname"]

apparently it’s some scam to make you sign up for their “silver” membership so that you can find out “who’s sharing experiences about you” and when you do this, they still don’t have any information about it. here’s some information about the thing.

ed o’brien from radiohead has his own blog

you should read it…it’s funny
