as a follow-up to my previous post on music, my audioscrobbler profile now includes all of the music i’ve been listening to on my ipod…i submitted it all through my php script. and, the music i’ve been listening to lately: the shins, the libertines, william shatner, rufus wainwright, and the postal service

so the red sox beat the yankees last night! espn.com shows what steinbrenner is thinking today…it’s funny!
so, i’ve been using audioscrobbler for a while…i have a few problems with it:
1: the music i listen to on my ipod isn’t counted (i’m working on a php script to manually submit that music, so hopefully this will be resolved)
2: but more importantly, i think it is missing a very valuable feature. right now, all that audioscrobbler keeps track of are your favorite songs and artists of *all-time*…and once you’ve used it for a long time, new artists and songs take a LOOOONG time to appear on the lists (except for the measly list of the past ten songs). what they should do is have a new list of recently played music (top artists/songs over the past X weeks/months). i think that would be really useful to see what people have been listening to lately.
is this a joke? it’s too funny…martha stewart making jam from crab apples in prison!
basketball season is upon us! tonight is midnight madness…go illini!!!!!! (espn has the illini ranked preseason number 9)
