i finally broke down and bought a new computer! i went for the dell dimension 4700…one of the low-end pci-express systems. i’d been waiting for the pci-express systems to come down in price, and they are finally starting to. also picked up a 17″ lcd flat panel in the deal!

the first coaches poll is out for the ncaa basketball season! the illini are #5…which makes them the highest ranked big ten team! (the big ten is getting some props this year, with msu at #10, wisconsin at #20, and michigan and purdue getting votes) should be a good year, i can’t wait for it to start! (so i can forget about the white sox’s season and this whole election thing)
