yesterday, slashdot linked to “bastard tetris“…you know how you always thought that tetris was against you and never gave you the pieces you wanted? well, this version really is against you…it has an algorithm for determining the worst possible piece to give you at any particular time and it does! yikes!

…and BONUS tetris news! in the comments, someone posted a link to perhaps the biggest innovation in tetris in the last 15 years! 1d tetris!

first the illini, now the white sox! the white sox won today and are now 13-4…which matches their best start ever! needless to say, they have the best record in the majors, they’re first in the al central, and they’re leading the twins by 3 games!
